My finished Gamma Quilt!

Last week I shared that I was finishing up hand quilting my Gamma Quilt by Miss Make and I loved hearing from so many of you that you are quilters, too! This is a new hobby for me and it is so nice to have a hobby - while knitting is a hobby for so many of you, it’s my job! While I love every aspect of knitting, sometimes it’s nice to check out of working mode completely and dive into something I’m doing just for fun.

So I felt like I had to share my finished quilt! I love how springy the colors are - having it on my bed makes it feel like spring isn’t so far away!

My next quilting project is to finish up my 2021 Summer Sampler quilt, the finished top shown here. I sandwiched it this week and will dig into the hand quilting this weekend I think!

I’ve been getting into making reels on Instagram a little and made a little video of all 4 of my animals “helping” me sandwich this sucker - you can find that here if you’re interested!

Now that I know we have quilting in common I’ll share a pic of my hand quilting progress next newsletter! In the meantime I hope you, too, can dig out some time for a comforting hobby this week!
