Porcelain Sweater Class: New Session Added!
I’m so excited to share that Laura and I just announced a new session of our Porcelain Sweater Class! We taught this class along with a retreat this fall, and we had such a huge demand to teach it as a class only we just knew we had to do it!
WHEN? 7 Saturdays - January 6, 13, 20, 27, February 3, 10, and 24th - 3-4:30pm CT

ALSO - a bonus materials class will be held on Tuesday December 5th from 6 - 6:30pm CT. Late to signing up? This recording will be included in your welcome email.
This class also includes a workroom at LauraAllyson.Party so knitters can interact with each other and show off their progress between classes! Students that sign up who are not already members will receive a free membership for the duration of the class.
We’ll learn:
Gauge and sizing
Unique top down, drop shoulder sweater construction two different ways
Stranded colorwork two different ways
Colorwork chart reading
Adding steek panels for the armholes
Reinforcing and cutting open your steek panels
Picking up stitches for the neckline and sleeves
Seaming
Supplies (not included in the cost of the class):
Needles: Needles that correspond with the yarn you’ll be using - Laura & Allyson will be knitting their sweaters in two different gauges to help illustrate that you can pick any weight yarn for this project!
Notions: Stitch Markers, Tapestry needle
Optional: Steek reinforcement materials
Sizing & Yarn Requirements:
Finished chest (fullest point) circumference: (37.5) 41.25 (45) 49 (52.25) 56.25 – to be worn with 8-ish” positive ease BUT remember! We will be talking through fully customizing the fit of this sweater in every aspect of the fit so we’ll be able to size this sweater for you no matter what your desired sizing is!
Approximately 1200 - 2000 yards MC and 300-600 yards CC very dependent on gauge/sizing of course. Questions? A bonus class focused on yarn purchasing and substitutions will be held on Tuesday, December 5th 6-6:30pm Late to sign up? That class recording will be sent as part of your class welcome package
