A Note from Allyson

A Note from Allyson

I was describing how I’ve been feeling recently like when you are getting picked up for something fun in 45 minutes - it’s not enough time to really start something new so you end up just pacing around your house. I feel like I’m pacing around my house waiting for my retreat season to kick off next weekend! I’ll be traveling 7 of the next 9 weekends to teach (and with a vacation trip to Croatia thrown in!) and I couldn’t be more excited to get on the road.

I’m also so excited and anxious to open my Paul McCartney Sweater Workroom! I’ve never done a class like this before and I’m so excited to kick it off but it doesn’t open until March 21st! But I CANNOT WAIT OMG.

So this week I’m planning to do a few little things I’ve been meaning to do for ages, like make myself a dopp kit from the Grainline Studio Portside Travel Set. I made Shane one for Christmas a couple years ago and I borrow it all the time! It’s just the perfect size, and with all the travel I have coming up it’s time I have one of my own. I’ll share a pic next week!

And I’m also going to try to relax! Cook and read - things I will not be able to do much starting in a few weeks. So I’ve stated my intensions - now to stop pacing and enjoy my last bits of calm!

UPDATE - here is my Dopp Kit! I did it!
