WIP Round Up!
With January being really really January here in Chicago, I’m getting a ton of knitting in! And I've got to say I'm finding so much joy in having these three projects on my needles right now. Yesterday was blocking day and I’m so happy with all of them!
I finished the body of my Leelanau and the fit is SO GOOD. I’m knitting this with LauraAllyson.Party for the annual LeelanKAL and this is the first time I’ve been able to participate!
Now, this isn’t the original Leelanau pattern - I modified it to be top down using my Cozy Classic Raglan class materials. I blocked it for a try on yesterday and she’s pretty perfect to me!
I'm working away on my Colette Pullover and the fit here is also so good after a few starts and stops AND I have to share that I've still got 2 spots left in my live Colette class if you'd like one of these, too!
This pattern is fun to knit but you’ve got to keep looking at it - great for when you’re rewatching something! But not so great when your eyes are glued to the Lions game!
I’ve also got a great start on my Paul McCartney Sweater! These colors are looking so good and MAN I love knitting colorwork! I’ve got probably 2-3 more motifs before I add my steek panels! I’m keeping right up with my workroom classmates WHEW!
And in other news - I’ve been slowly chipping away at this Seamwork Mercer Boiler Suit! In my Garment Sewing Workroom we are working on Boiler Suits this month and it finally motivated me to make one of these - I’ve wanted one for ages! But it’s a lot of pattern so I’m working it slowly. Just gotta get those sleeves on!
