π Sledding Scarf FOs π
Sometimes you get a real dumb idea, and then you spend your Saturday night knitting your Emotional Support Chicken a matching Sledding Scarf! I have no regrets!
Ever since I knit my Emotional Support Chicken out of my leftoved Kelbourne Woolens Lucky Tweed I used for my Felix Cardigan I wanted to do a twinning photoshoot, but when it came up in one of my classes on Saturday that I should knit my chicken a matching Sledding Scarf, I knew it was the extra motivation I needed!
So I spent my Saturday night knitting a fully functional Sledding Scarf to exactly match the one I just finished for myself, because why not?! After the reactions I was getting to my chicken's new accessory in my classes on Sunday I got some pics and made a little reel haha.
Iβve certainly knit dumber things in my life, but none that gave me this instant satisfaction. I mean. Just look at her dumb face but oh so warm neck!
Extremely hard to nail that vacant yet caring expression!
I did also take some nice pics of my Sledding Scarf!
I color blocked it by using some navy odds and ends and some beautiful Ewe Ewe Yarns Heathers Heathers I got from Spring Resale and I love the color block! It makes it so fun!
I wasn't super sure about the wearability of this scarf but it has been bringing me so much joy and I've been reaching for it both for laughs and for serious so I think this is totally a thing for me!
I'm helping you through it at LauraAllyson.Party this month so if you're #influenced, come join us!
