Happy 3 Year Anniversary!

Three years ago this week, after an extremely tumultuous and painful last few months being part owner of Knit 1 yarn store here in Chicago, I was fired by my business partner, and had no choice but to Figure It Out.

But figure it out I did! I built a website literally overnight (stress insomnia!) and moved my virtual classes over to allysondykhuizen.com. Three years later I’ve taught hundreds of classes to thousands of knitters, and counting!

Laura and I launched lauraallyson.com and LauraAllyson.Party three years ago, both of which are going strong! It feels extra good when I make more money running the Party, hosting retreats, and teaching with Laura than what my Knit 1 salary was.

So if you’ve been here since the very beginning - THANK YOU! And if you’re new here - THANK YOU! I love what I do and I wouldn’t be able to do it without you, so thank you so much for welcoming me into your home and letting me yell at you about math.
