Surprise! New Classes!
Surprise! More Classes!
We’re wrapping up 2024 and it’s all about looking ahead in 2025! What better way to start your year than by signing up for a knitting class? I just dropped 3 more classes into my schedule you’re sure to love!
Alright doing something a little differently here! I’ve only ever taught my Black Sheep Sweater as a workroom because it’s kind of a lot and I wanted knitters to have a more collaborative wive, but I thought it would be fun to teach a vest version as a class! So more structure but at a relaxed pace.
What you’ll learn in this class:
Using your gauge and measurements to create a perfectly fitting sweater
Ladder Back Jacquard colorwork
Duplicate stitch
Adding steek panels for the armholes of a sweater exactly where you need them
Steeking!
Picking up stitches for the ribbing
Custom neckline shaping
Shaping the armholes to create perfect vest shoulder width
Weekender Crew
I LOVE WEEKENDER CREW!! I wear mine all the time and I’m half tempted to knit myself another one with this session!
It’s a perfect first sweater if you’ve never jumped into knitting a sweater before!
What you’ll learn in this class:
Gauge and sizing
Sizing customization for both the body and the sleeves
A full bust adjustment so you can get a better fit in the front and no swinging back!
Knitting in the round and knitting flat - what happens if your gauge changes!
Tubular cast on and bind off
Short rows
Knitting sleeves two at a time
Optional - adding a second shoulder color!
Framed
I’m teaching this class right now and the sweaters being knit up are absolutely phenomenal! It sold out this session so I knew I needed to get another one up on my schedule. Trust me - you need this beauty!
We’ll learn:
Using your gauge and measurements to create a perfectly fitting sweater from body to sleeves
Stranded colorwork techniques
Adding steek panels for the armholes so you don’t have to knit back and forth
