From choosing colors and planning where they go to knitting perfect stranded colorwork (and don’t forget about perfect sweater sizing!), we’ll be doing it all in this Paul Klee class! Sweater designed by Midori Hirose.

We’ll learn:
Choosing colors!
… then applying your colors in a way that looks beautiful with the design
In the round, stitch pattern gauge
The ins and outs of back neck short rows
Customized neckline sizing
Top down yoke construction
Stranded colorwork
Modifying the charted yoke increases to shape the yoke to your specific sizing requirements
Customizing the yoke depth despite the colorwork charts!
Picking up stitches
Two at a time sleeve knitting (optional!)

Needles:
The pattern calls for US 5 body circular needles 24-40” length, but with our yarn/gauge that might change, so be sure to have a range! I went down a needle size because I didn’t like that loose gauge.

Notes About Allyson’s Classes!

• Classes are taught live from Allyson’s home studio.

• Each class features 2 cameras - a hand camera so you can see close ups of every detailed demo, and a face camera for face to face interaction.

• Classes are kept small so everyone gets the personal attention they need to succeed!

• Each class will be recorded and sent out to everyone to make it easy for student’s to rewatch important moments, or if a student needs to miss a live class.

• After each class has 10 students sign up to attend the live classes, a recording only option will open up at 60% of the cost of the class. If you sign up for the recordings only option you won’t have access to attend the live classes, but you will be sent the recordings every week and be able to email Allyson any questions you have along the way.
