I haven’t published a new knitting pattern since March 2020 - GEE I WONDER WHY! It feels good to get back into it!
Now you can knit yourself a hat version of the Paul McCartney Sweater pattern I’ve been playing around with all year! You can pick and choose your favorite sweater motifs and create a unique hat tribute to Sir Paul’s original sweater. Stay true to the original colors or go rouge.
Finished Size: 21 (23)“ hat circumference. Hat is pictured in the larger size.
Yarn: Kelbourne Woolens Camper, 100% Wool; 200yds/50g: Grey Heather (MC), Sunflower Heather (C1/C5), Ocean Heather (C2), Navy Heather (C3), and Scarlet Heather (C4) - 1 skein each.
Needles: Size 4 (3.5 mm): 16” circ; Size 2 (2.75 mm): 16” circ, or size to obtain gauge.
Notions: Marker (m); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 26 sts and 29 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stranded colorwork on larger needles.
