Well I had a great time in last week’s email going over the results of a survey I sent out asking you what sweaters you were into, and I got a TON of responses saying you had fun with that, too! And I’m so glad!

If you’ve bee around for a while - I started as a MYSPACE PAGE holy shit before starting my knitting blog, The Sweatshop of Love, in 2007. I absolutely loved writing that blog! But then blogs kinda died, and after visiting India for the first time in 2018 and seeing actual sweatshops I did the Allyson Dykhuizen rebrand.

All that to say I don’t get to write creatively like I use to, so using this newsletter in that old blog-y way was something I wanted to do more of!

Anyway Atlantica won! And I love that for us! So mark your calendars and clear some WIPs! That class, and the rest of my fall classes, will launch on September 16th exclusively to LauraAllyson.Party members, and widely on September 17th.

Last week I shared that this sweater, Djo by Sophie Ochre, was the overwhelming winner in my new classes survey results, and I was serious about having this as a class starting in January!

This is my yarn! The dark gold-y is my MC and I just went crazy and ordered a bunch of contrasts. This sweater is like 4 in the queue but I’m excited!
