New Classes Survey Results:

A couple of weeks ago I started (trying) to ask you what sweaters are in your queue! I want to start planning for winter classes and I was so curious to see what sweaters you are interested in.

I had almost 70 responses and have been digging through and sorting - and the results are in!

I deleted anything that only had 1 vote, which helped narrow it down a bit. OVERWHELMINGLY, there was one victor!

Djo by Sophie Ochre! Which is great because I LOVE Sophie Ochre and when this sweater came out I was super into it but for some reason thought you wouldn’t be?!

So! Wrap it up. It’s happening! Look for this class to start in January!

Other sweaters that got votes that I think would make great classes are, top left to right - Drevo Pullover, Newbold, Oraefi, and Billie.

I LOVE Oraefi - I feel like this would be a fun class to talk about bottom up vs top down yoke styles, adjusting yoke charts for fit, etc.

And I’m very interested in that Drevo Pullover! That looks like … a LOT of ribbing?! But the construction looks so cool!

And in the maybe pile we’ve got Noctua, Halibut (you guys are KILLING ME WITH THIS), Citrine, and Meissa.

I feel like Halibut is the sweater I’ve been asked the most about of every sweater ever. Like, yeah I get it! It’s cool! But holy shit look at these FOs! This pattern is obviously a nightmare - barely anyone makes it look good! No one has any range of motion - it’s like knitting a fish straightjacket. You all want a fish straightjacket?!

And then in the absolutely not no way pile - all these Petite Knits sweaters! I mean SNOOZEVILLE USA! You don’t need me to pop up every week and be like - well keep knitting! Forever! Just go to the Gap!

This Leith Cardigan is super cute but not a lot sizing/structure/interest going on in there! And Tesselated I’m just not in to. Looks like a LOT of 1x1 textured, colorwork ribbing (UG) for not a big bang. Which is probably why she has a vest version!

I also asked which classes I’ve taught before you’d like to see again. Again, I removed the sweaters that just had 1 vote, and these were the answers!

Great news - Laura and I will be teaching Porcelain again! Look for that to launch on September 3rd!

I’ve got Design Your Own Raglan and Design Your Own Yoke sweater classes slotted for November! Look for those to launch in September as well!
