Join Sock Pals!

I’m so happy to be working with Grace of Gnome Depot to bring back Sock Pals! A club we started during the pandemic at Knit 1, but deserves to live on!

If you are unfamiliar, here is how it works!

Step 1: Sign up! You’ll then be sent a form to fill out where you’ll pick which sock you want to keep, your yarn color, share your size, gauge, and skillz. We will close sign ups for a certain sock pattern preference if it starts getting lopsided in the hopes that we have the same number of people signing up for each sock.

Step 2: You'll be sent both sock patterns and 2 half skeins of yarn - one you’ll keep and one for your sock pal that you’ll send back to us!

Step 3: Knit two socks - one in each pattern. You’ll be given a deadline to send back your second sock to us.

Step 4: We’ll send you your matching sock knit by your mystery sock pal!

Step 5: Join us for a Zoom Sock Pals Party! We’ll share who your mystery sock pal is and just have a great time.

Our new session of Sock Pals will run through the first part of the summer! The deadline to sign up is May 15th, your deadline for shipping your Pal’s sock is July 14th, and our Sock Pal Virtual Party is July 28th!
