We are a few short weeks away from kicking off one of our favorite times of the year - SLEEVETEMBER! We wanted to make sure you had time to plan, dig out your projects, and get yourselves organized so the details are up now at LauraAllyson.Party!

Umm WHAT?! You’ve never heard of Sleevetember before?! Well you are in for a TREAT! Here is the general idea:

You, Happy Knitter, spent the winter starting projects, maybe taking a bunch of classes, and were super excited about all of your sweaters and knitting! Riiiiiiight up until the temps started rising. Suddenly your desire to have a wool sweater in your lap faded. Your kids were home from school, you lined up some trips, your social calendar started filling up, etc etc - your WIPs got shoved further and further deep into the closet. (You think? Or maybe they're in that drawer? Who knows but they've got to me somewhere!)

Does that sound familiar?! You're not alone! But in September things start to normalize for your schedule and those temps start to drop and suddenly we want our knitting again! So that's the idea behind Sleevetember, our knitting challenge designed to help you turn those languishing WIPs into FOs!

We've got FABULOUS PRIZES for participating and finishing projects! I'll be keeping track of your points and giving updates all month long. Even if you don't accomplish your goals you still qualify for points and prizes so it's a real win win!

We've got 12 prompt days throughout the month and participation = points! If the prompt is Knit Night - come to our zoom knit night for a point! If the prompt is a posting prompt, like sharing your weekend progress or your halfway point progress - the get yourself on The Party or on Instagram and share a pic of your progress using #Sleevetember23 so I can find it!

Participation on instagram only, without Party membership, is totally ok! You’ll also use #LauraAllysonParty when posting.

Sleevetember will pop off on Friday, September 1st with Introduction & Goals - we'd LOVE to see a pic of your WIPs and hear about what you'd like to accomplish by Sept 30th. I'll be counting up the goals and keeping track throughout the month to see if we can't get through EVERYTHING!

Now, we did GREAT last year! But I want to do better than that this year! I know we can do it!
