Designing raglan sweaters is very hard because knitter’s raglan depths and bust circumferences have nothing to do with each other! We dig into customizing raglan depth and body and sleeve circumferences with spreadsheets and math! But, you know, fun.

Twigs Your Way
I’m always tempted to knit this one again because I love it so much! I teach this class as a kinda intro to designing your own sweater because the pattern is written for one size and that’s just not how human bodies work, so we’ll talk about the ins and outs of customizing a sweater for you in a very managable way.
An if you’re scared off by that gauge, most knitters bump it to DK or Worsted weight! It’s Twigs YOUR WAY so no you don’t have to use a fucking size 1 needle haha.
Newbold
This is a sweater I knit in deep covid but have been reaching for a lot lately! I customized the hell out of this one and that’s how I’ll be teaching it.
We’ll be starting at the bottom of the yoke and knitting the yoke up from there. We’ll then go back to that spot and knit the rest of the sweater down to help get the perfect fit!
With big needles and big yarn it should be a fun one to dig into and keep up with!
